Terms and conditions

1. You agree to provide PrivateHub Online true and correct information in order to provide service to you, and you give PrivateHub Online permission to process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
2. You agree that you can cancel your service at any time, and that once the service is cancelled, the server(s) and data (including backups) will be irrecoverably deleted from PrivateHub Online’s infrastructure at the end of your current paid-for month.
3. You agree that failing to pay your PrivateHub Online account on time without prior arrangement may lead to account termination and the service being cancelled (including server and data deletion).
4. You agree that PrivateHub Online is providing services on a best-effort basis and that PrivateHub Online will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, cost or expense of any kind, irrespective of how such damage or loss was caused, whether arising under contract, delict or otherwise, including, and not limited to, data loss or corruption, loss of profits, contracts, operation time and goodwill.
5. When using PrivateHub Online’s AI service, you agree that the AI may provide incorrect or hallucinated responses and should not be relied upon for medical, financial, legal, or other such important decisions.
6. You agree that PrivateHub Online may move your server infrastructure between service providers or data centres within the borders of South Africa as may be deemed necessary.
7. You agree that server bandwidth is not unlimited, and that you may incur additional costs in the event of excessive bandwidth usage (more than 5 times your allotted storage space in one month).
8. If you have not taken an off-site backup service with PrivateHub Online, you agree to take responsibility for making regular backups of your data. PrivateHub Online only keeps a backup of the server configuration and database which will allow for re-constituting the server (but excluding user’s files) on a new machine.
9. You agree that abusive behaviour towards PrivateHub Online’s staff will not be tolerated and can lead to the cancellation of your service.
10. You agree that these terms may change. PrivateHub Online will notify you should these terms be updated.
